World Naked Bike Ride
From Envirowiki
We face automobile traffic with our naked bodies as the best way of defending our dignity and exposing the unique dangers faced by cyclists and pedestrians as well as the negative consequences we all face due to dependence on oil, and other forms of non-renewable energy.

The dress Code for the World Naked Bike Ride is Bare as You Dare! YOU get to decide how naked you wish to be. If that means completely naked, the decision is yours.
In over 50 cities around the globe, thousands of naked cyclists protest simultaneously through city streets for peace, the environment and the rights of cyclists. The protest rides occur at least twice every year and take into account the climate of the hemisphere or latitude when deciding their timing.
The World Naked Bike Ride is a great culture jamming event which gets huge media attention, helping publicise the important protest themes. It is a very groovy, hippie, greenie happening that is fantastic fun for participants and the public. If you participate in a the WNBR the memory of it will bring cheer your spirit with joy and laughter for ages.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the event as well as help organising. If there is not a WNBR planned in a location that is close or convenient for you to participate, you can organise a new ride in your town or city. Extensive networks are in place that can offer you support and advice to help you get a new ride started.
The World Naked Bike ride has its own Wiki, conventional websites and discussion groups. Please refer to these links for further information and latest details of the rides that are planned near you.
