Europe is a continent in the northern hemisphere of earth, bordered by the north sea and the arctic circle, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean sea and Asia. Europe has large number of countries, and is mostly temperate (being fed by the Gulf Stream) makes it abnormally warm).

Some western European countries, such as England, France, Portugal, Spain, and to a lesser extent, Holland and Germany, have been the largest colonisers in the world, and now most countries in the world speak a western European language as one of their primary languages. Most of western europe is considered first world - most of the countries they invaded and resource-raped is considered third world.

European countries are now fairly densely populated, and require imports of food, and some require imports of energy to maintain current living standards.

Some European countries, such as Germany and Holland are now world-leaders in terms of use of alternative energy.
