Seed and plant exchanges
From Envirowiki
Seed and plant exchanges (or "swaps") constitute an emerging, green regiving practice.More official versions of this practice have taken place between science laboratories and national museums for decades, or centuries. Some museums have seed stores of many thousands of plant types.
One of the benefits of seed exchanging is the possibility of using new varieties of seeds, increasing the biodiversity of the garden, and thereby decreasing pest attacks.
