Envirowiki.info was started in late August, 2006. It's slowly getting bigger, but it needs your help! • Adding a page is the same as editing a blank page. the best way is to search for the page you want to add (on the left), and if you don't find it, click "create this page". Try it!

Don't be scared about formatting and stuff, a people regularly check the new edits and fix formatting and minor mistakes.

Wanna help?

envirowiki has been set up recently and so it doesn't have a lot of information yet. If you want to change that, you can create and edit pages yourself. Simply click the "edit" tab at the top of the page you want to edit. Search for the page first, and if it isn't there, create it!

If you want to add stuff to envirowiki, but don't know what to add, check out Special:Wantedpages

envirowiki is run on Mediawiki, which is the software that runs Wikipedia, so most things are the same as there.

Unfortunately envirowiki is currently very australocentric, because it started in Newcastle, Australia. YOU can help fix that, by posting stuff about your campaigns in your area. the more the merrier!

How should this place operate?

It would be good to have some democratic input (like real democracy, not western "democracy"). If you want to help out, by coding, or giving suggestions, go straight to Envirowiki:Policy.
