In-situ acid leech mining

In-situ acid leech mining is a process involving the pumping of acid (usually sulfuric acid), into the ground, which dissolves the desired compound, or element from it's ore[reference needed]. it is often used for uranium mining, as reduces the requirement for milling of the ore.

Often the acidic leftovers are left to seep into the ground[reference needed].
