The Iemma government is staunchly anti-environment, especially on climate change, with ministers like Michael Costa leading the push for more coal power stations, mines, and exports. The government, has attacked the Garnaut review for not taking the economy into account enough (even though Garnaut is an economist)^[1]Ironically, it's the first New South Welsh government with a climate change ministry (the Department of Environment and Climate Change).
