From Envirowiki
The Gunns 20 are a group of forest activists and activist organisations working on Tasmanian forest campaigns who have been litigated against by Gunns Ltd. The Gunns SLAPP suit was first brought against the Gunns 20 in december 2004.

By late 2007[1]
- Gunns had had their statement of claim thrown out three times, and were ordered to pay the defendants' cost to a total of more that $500,000: more than the total that their statement of claim says they have lost.
The ACT's Legislative Assembly legal affair standing committee recommended legislation against SLAPP suits, in a report with numerous references to the Gunns 20 case.
