G20

the G20, or Group of 20 Nations, is an economic co-operation forum to forward the interests of 19 of the richest nations on earth, as well as the European Union. it is similar to the G8. the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank also play a part.
The G20 held a conference in Melbourne in November 2006. The conference was protested by more than 3000 people, one of the largest anti-corporate-globalisation protests in Australia.

the G20 is made up of nineteen member countries, and the European Union. the "members" are actually the finance ministers and central bank governors of each country, and representatives from the IMF, World Bank have a non-voting role[reference needed]. the members are:
