Good sources should be able to be checked easily, and include:

• Non-fiction books, encyclopedias etc.
• Journals and reputable magazines and their websites, such as Science, Newscientist, and The Ecologist.
• Blogs and personal websites of experts in the relevant field (ie. realclimate.com for climate change)
• Probably more.. you can add to this list..
